The vision of the Center is to create vibrant community to combat the causes and consequences of LGBTQIA invisibility locally and globally.
"The vision is programming for healthy humans, which means programming for every stage, every age," said Jolie McKenna, Executive Director of the center, 1456 Junction Ave. The LGBT Center offers support groups, social programming, crisis help, service referrals and more for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender residents of Racine, Kenosha and Walworth counties as well as Northern Illinois.
(Please note the LGBT Center of SE Wisconsin will be closed for inclement weather when Gateway Tech or Racine Public Schools are closed. You can call the Center or 262-617-0312 for confirmation.)
