Cell Phone Reminder: Mobile and cell phone numbers are going public, which means  they'll be released to telemarketing
companies and you'll probably begin receiving sales calls for which you'll be charged--even if the message is saved on your phone and all you do is just listen to it!  To prevent this, call the national DO NOT CALL registry at 1.888.382.1222.  The call will take only one minute and will "block" your number from telemarketers for five (5) years.  Remember: You must call from the cell (mobile) phone number that you want blocked, not any other telephone number.

Wisconsin Domestic Partnership Registrations Begin August 3

A legal status that provides same-sex couples in Wisconsin who register as domestic partners, recognized domestic partnerships include protections covering (among others) inheritance and survivors; family and medical leave; medical, hospital and visitation rights; and other protections.  Click on the headline above to read the document prepared by Fair Wisconsin that answers many or most of your questions about the new law in Wisconsin.  Racine and Kenosha residents are reminded that they should visit the office of their respective COUNTY -- not City -- clerk to obtain an application form and actually register for these new domestic partner protections.

Click on the picture below to watch a video about the new domestic partnership

protections featuring a Madison, Wisconsin, same-sex couple with children.
